Departed this life on Wednesday April 19, 2023, at 84 years old.
He was the husband of Linda Richmond of Richmond, KY (Union City) for 30 loving years.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents Hobart and Omega Richmond of Pluto, West Virginia; his son, Edwin H. Richmond Jr of Sioux Falls, SD; his brothers Bobby F. Richmond, Howard S. Richmond, Lawrence D. Richmond, Jerry D. Richmond, Harold L. Richmond, Elmer C. Richmond; his sisters Margaret J. England, and Betty A. Sayer.
Ed’s remaining siblings are Joe Richmond (Marquetta) of Crab Orchard, West Virginia and Caroll Brillion (Joe) of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Ed also has a daughter, Moleta Lambert (Mike) of Winchester, KY; daughter, Candace Richmond of Richmond, KY; son, Dustin Richmond of Union City, KY; son, Tyler Richmond of Union City, KY.
Ed’s grandchildren are Nick Lambert of Lexington, KY; Chris Lambert of Gallatin, TN; Ben Lambert of Highland Heights, KY; Jeremiah Richmond of Richmond, KY; Josiah Richmond of Richmond, KY; Tyler Richmond Jr. of Richmond, KY; Raelynn Richmond of Shelbyville, KY; and Oaklynn Richmond of Richmond, KY.
Ed also has several nieces and nephews who will miss him.
Ed was a United States Army veteran, who served his country from 1961-1963.
Ed loved his wife and family as well as hunting, fishing, gardening, working in his yard, cooking, and watching Westerns on tv.
There will be a private family service at the Richmond Cemetery in Pluto, West Virginia at a later date.
