William P. "Bill" Worrell

William P. “Bill” Worrell, 91, husband of Jean Henson Worrell, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home. He was born May 25, 1931 in Cynthiana, KY to the late Dallas Steven and Mayme Lennox Worrell. Bill was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired buyer for IBM, and was a longtime member of Liberty Road Community Church. He was a KY Colonel and a former member of the Elks Lodge. Along with his wife Jean, he is survived by his sons, Steve (Vanessa) Worrell and Scott Worrell; grandchildren, Brent (Karri) Worrell, Evan (Audrey) Worrell, and Megan (Garrett) Lipic; and great granddaughters, Madeline and Alexandra Worrell. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Worrell and a sister, Betty Worrell Henson. Services will be 12: 30 PM Monday, March 20, 2023 at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Melvin, Rory Thomas, Paul Bland, Dale Henson, Todd Henson, Desha Henson, and Mike Dowd.
