Donald H. Boyanowski
Donald H. Boyanowski, 89, of Lexington, widower of Jan Dickson Boyanowski, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at his residence. Born January 19, 1934 in Laceyville, Pennsylvania to the late Stephen and Josephine Gryskiewcz Boyanowski. He was a hospital administrator, a Korean War Veteran, an avid gardener and deeply loved his family.
He is survived by three daughters, Cathy B. Stafford of Lexington, Amy J. (James) Wellman of Findlay, OH, Julia A. McRae of Jacksonville, Fl; two brothers, Art and Ron Boyanowski; one sister, Barbara Marabell; grandchildren are Wes Stafford, Dean Bishop, Emily and Hannah Wellman, Luke, Jacob, and Lilly McRae, and Abby Harris; and great grandsons, Maverick McRae, B.J. and Kelsey Harris. He is preceded in death by his son, Alex; three brothers, Edward, Stephen, and John Boyanowski; and two sisters, Helen and Lottie Kamarauscus.
A private service will be held on Monday at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Buck Run Baptist Church, 1950 Leestown Road, Frankfort, KY 40601.
