Janet Newman Brewer, 66, widow of Danny Brewer, died Monday March 13, 2023. Born on June 14, 1956 in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Tracy and Virginia Ellen Blakeman Newman. Janet was a Bryan Station High School graduate, a retired school bus driver and a Wal-Mart employee. Survivors include one son, James Brewer; one daughter, Wanda Egner (Larry); two grandsons, Chase Brewer and Bentley Egner; two granddaughters, ShyAnn Brewer and Shelby Egner; one sister, Linda G. King and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Wayne Newman. Services will be conducted at 10:00am Monday March 20, 2023 at Kerr Brothers-Main Street. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery in Campton. Visitation will be 5-8pm Sunday.
