Bill Eason
Funeral Time: Monday, April 12th at 1:00PM
EASON, Bill, went home to be with his Lord on April 5, 2021. He was the son of the late William C. and Frances McFadden Eason. He was born August 31, 1925 in Fayette County, KY. He has been an active member at Hill ‘N Dale Christian Church since 1988 and also a member of Bluegrass Men’s Fellowship. He has also been active in Tutors for Christ, a ministry founded by him and his wife in 1982. Mr. Eason worked at Kawneer Co. for 12 years and retired from IBM after 29 years. He was a veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife, Jean, married for 74 years; a son, Daryl (Cindy); and a daughter, Suzanne (Allen) Kidd. Papaw Eason is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kenny Eason, Jr., Anthony (Kaitlyn) Eason, and Ann Marie Eason, Sarah (Jory) Moon, Phil (Andrea) Kidd, and Andy (Melanie) Kidd; an “adopted” granddaughter, Meekio (Steve) Milligan; and three great grandchildren, Benjamin Moon, Everly Kidd and Amber Joy Milligan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Eason; and a sister, Frances Ann McElfresh. Services will be 1 pm Mon., April 12 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. with Rev. Gene Welsh presiding. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
