Funeral Time: Tuesday, January 19th at 11:00AM
Kenneth Wayne McHatton, age 71, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Lexington, KY on February 1st, 1949 to the late Frank McHatton and Esther True McHatton. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was retired from Link Belt Cranes. He was a beloved father and papaw. Nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was proceeded in death by a sister, Mary McHatton, and two brothers, Johnny McHatton and Richard McHatton. He is survived by his only child, Crystal (Rodney) Goodwin; four grandchildren, Austyn Goodwin, Katelyn Goodwin, Jaden Goodwin, and Ryan Goodwin; one great granddaughter, Parker Jane Thompson; a sister, Kaye Martinez; and a very special niece, Patricia Ulrich.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 19th from 9 am – 11 am at Kerr Brothers Funeral home on Harrodsburg Road with funeral services to follow at 11. Burial will be at Camp Nelson immediately following the service. Due to covid restrictions in place at Camp Nelson, burial service is for immediate family only. Pallbearers will be Austyn Goodwin, Jaden Goodwin, Ryan Goodwin, Doug Goodwin, Justin Thompson and Jonathon Kinder. Face covering and social distancing is required.
