Mike Ray McGuire
Funeral Time: Friday, September 18th at 2:00PM
Mike Ray McGuire, 56, of Nicholasville, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 after reaching the age of 56 years old. After years of health issues, he died peacefully within his residence in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mike was born October 15, 1963 to Helga Cook and Ronnie McGuire while living in Germany. As a very young man he learned to work hard and to take on whatever job was available to support himself. He was an early entrepreneur and ran his own mechanics shop where he quickly became one of the best. He later left the shop and began working for big name shops. Mike is survived in legacy by his wife, Ninoska McGuire, of Nicholasville, KY; his children, Jessica McGuire McKinney and her spouse Justin McKinney, Michael “Mikie” McGuire and his spouse Chasitie Rose McGuire, and Jonnathan McGuire of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren Angel Helton, Aubrie McKinney, Cadance McGuire, Georgia McGuire, Jase McKinney, Colton McGuire, Evangline McGuire and Everett McGuire; sister Fay Grider; niece Halie Sekulic; nephew Joseph Grider; and a host of loving in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and longtime friends from across the states.
Mike was an avid hunter and believed that if you didn’t smell like either dirt or a skunk's butt you were doing it wrong. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife where if “slow down” wasn’t yelled at least once the ride wasn’t the same. Condolences and memorials may be expressed to the family through Ninoska McGuire and Michael McGuire.
Mike will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile, sense of humor, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us. Visitation for Mike will be held 1:00 to 4:00 pm Friday, September 18, 2020 with a service at 2:00 pm at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd.
