Lucille Ward
Funeral Time: Sunday, October 14th at 5:00PM
Elect Lady Lucille Ward was born December 26, 1930 in Brentwood, Tennessee to the late William Moore Jr. and Hattie Lee Watkins. On Sabbath Eve, Friday October 5th, 2018 she entered eternal rest, surrounded by family, in the comfort of her home. Lucille was preceded in death by her sister Juanita, brother James Noble, son-in-law Robert Powell and great-grandson Nathaniel Lee Stuckey.

On March 6th 1948, at the age of 17 she married the love of her life Bethel Ward in Franklin, Tennessee. In their early marriage, they attended Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Brentwood. She was a devoted wife and loved showering her husband with affection.

In 1954, she joined her husband in Kentucky, who had received a job offer at Dodge Stable Horse Farm, with their three oldest children. Their first priority has always been to raise their children in a loving, family-oriented, with a Christian upbringing. As the mother of 10 children, she worked tirelessly to provide a stable and promising future.
Elect Lady Ward joined the House of God on Ash Street in 1955, under the leadership of our late Chief of Apostle Bishop S.P. Rawlings. Lady Ward was a part of the Missionary Department and the Motherís Board. She told her husband that she did not think she could receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, but God. At a revival that Mother L.E. Dailey was the guest speaker, Lady Ward received the gift of Holy Ghost, and Evang. Demaree was the altar worker. She was a faithful member of the House of God under the leadership of Apostle Clark until her demise and a servant of Jesus Christ in her daily life.
Lady Ward had a contagious and warm spirit that would welcome anyone. She had a memorable smile that could light up the room by her graceful presence. She was known for her classy style and extravagant hats.

She leaves to celebrate her memory a devoted husband for 70 years Bethel Harry Ward and 10 children, Bobby (Alice), Brenda, Nathan (Clarissa), Marguerite Powell, Bethel Jr. (Toya), Elaine, Maurice, Starlena, Sterling (Debbie), Littleton (Taleesa). She adored her 24 grandchildren Tina Stuckey, Porsha Ward, Shauna Watson, Aundrea Ward-Holloman, Shelia Howell, Sharee Green, Shanice Mayberry, Kayla Ward, Nathan Ward II, Jamaal Powell, Demetrious Jackson, Zion Ward, Shiloh Ward, Arianne Ward, Littleton Ward II, Elijah Ward, Sterling Ward, Jr., Hannah Allen, Blake Ratliff, Tommy Ratliff, Dylan Ratliff, Nastassia Gay, Maurice Ward II, Isaiah Ward, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
