Weston Whitney Frasier

FRASIER, Weston Whitney, 94, husband of Twyla M. Frasier, died Feb. 12, at Baptist Health Lexington. Born March 27, 1923 in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Edward Gordon and Elfa Lee Whitney Frasier. Mr. Frasier received his graduate and master degrees from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY and served in the U.S. Navy as a salvage diver and a flyer during World War II. He retired as Vice President of Underwriting from the Kentucky Central Life Insurance Home Office. He had formerly worked as a director with YMCA and as an underwriter for First Colony Life Insurance Company in Lynchburg, VA. Mr. Frasier was a member of the Oleika Shrine Temple, Devotion Lodge #160, 39 Club, Temple Guard, Royal Spring Shrine Club, Wilderness Shrine Club, and past captain of the Marching Patrol. He was a volunteer with Godís Pantry and Central Kentucky Blood Center. Survivors other than his wife of 71 years include a son, Howard W. (Annette) Frasier; daughter, Sandra (Doug) Palmer; six grandchildren, Wayne D. Palmer, Bryan D. (Pam) Palmer, Candice (Steve) Cable, Alice Frasier, Damara (Jim) McArthur, and Howard Frasier II; twelve great grandchildren, Madison Hines, Jacob and Hudson Palmer, Paxton and Presley Palmer, Siera, Corey, and Dayle Cable, Atlynn and Cassidy McArthur, and Rayleigh and McKinley Frasier. He will be missed very much by all. Visitation will be held 2-4 pm Sun., Feb. 25 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. with Masonic Rites at 4 pm and a Memorial Service to immediately follow by Rev. Ronald Luckey.
