Cleda Abrams

ABRAMS, Cleda Perkins, 90, widow of James Allen Abrams, died Feb. 12, 2018 at her residence in Lexington, KY. Born Sept. 13, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Perkins, Sr. and Lucy Beeler Perkins. Mrs. Abrams was a homemaker, and a member of Man O War Church of God. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and aunt. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Abrams and Michelle Abrams, both of Lexington, KY; and a host of extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Abrams was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian (Gene) Lawwill and Anna Ruth (Ray) Harrison; and a brother, Arthur (Elma) Perkins, Jr. Visitation will be 5 - 7 pm Thurs, Feb. 15 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, KY. An additional visitation will be held 11 am 12 pm Fri., Feb. 16 at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231 with a committal ceremony following at 12 noon Fri. by Rev. Mitchell Tolle and Rev. M.J. Tolle. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Man O War Church of God Building Fund, 1501 Trent Blvd., Lexington, KY 40515 or the Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
