Donald Ray Mann, 88, died Friday Feb. 9, 2018. He retired in 1985 after 34 years of service with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

He was born in Wellington, Kentucky, a son of Charles and Ruby Leah Little Mann, and was a Deacon in First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Sterling. Don loved music and sang in several Barber Shop quartets. Playing Rook and Scrabble with family and friends was his second love.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Annette Cecil Mann, and second wife Bettye R. Mann; as well as a sister, Marilyn Mann Denniston; and a brother, Charles D. Mann.

Survivors include his brother, Harold L Mann of Lexington, KY; children of his first wife, Annette Cecil Mann: Charlotte Ann Garvin of Bowling Green, KY, Donald Phillip (Charlotte) Mann of Frankfort, KY, and Beverly Kim (Gary) Blake of Lexington, KY; and step-children of his second wife Bettye R. Mann: Cheri C Murto of Tamarac, Fla, Guinevere C. Tabor of Covington, KY, Julie V. (Dennis) Adkisson of Orlando, Fla.

His Grandchildren are Kimberley M. (Todd) Ferrier of Pacific Palisades, Ca, Katherine C. (Trey) Seigler of Bowling Green, KY, David C. Garvin of Nashville, Tn, Arthur D. (Jessica) Garvin of Bowling Green, KY, Charles P. Mann of Raleigh, NC, Don W. Mann of Frankfort, KY, Clinton W. (Natalie) Blake, Chadwick M. Blake, and Cassie M (Chris) Mears all of Lexington, KY; six step-grandchildren: Tiffany M. (Rob) Osburn of Orlando, Fla, Derek J (Diane) Tabor of Newman, Ga., Dennis Adkisson Jr of Louisville, KY; also surviving him are ten great Grandchildren and four great step-Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
A Graveside Memorial service will be held at the Lexington Cemetery, 833 West Main Street, Lexington, KY on Tuesday, Feb 13 at 2:00 PM.
